  • Operating Envelope: The operating envelopes for the ZR*KC compressors with R-22, R-407C, R-134a, and R-410A are illustrated in Figure 2 of the technical bulletin. The steady-state operating condition of the compressor must remain inside the prescribed operating envelope.

  • Internal Pressure Relief (IPR) Valve: The IPR valve is designed to relieve excessive pressure within the compressor to protect it from damage.

  • Continuous Floodback Test: It is necessary to operate the system in a test room at conditions where steady-state floodback may occur to test for excessive continuous liquid refrigerant floodback.
